Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barin Pep (ranked 4878 p4p, 165 weight class) and Just Kowa (ranked 3168 p4p, 91 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Barin Pep! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Just Kowa! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pep shoots in and drives through. Kowa sprawls well. Kowa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pep but Pep pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kowa moves in looking to clinch but Pep pushes him off. Pep shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kowa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pep sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kowa somewhat. Kowa dives in and grabs Pep's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pep pushes down on Kowa's head and hops out. Barin Pep has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Just Kowa. Kowa has his takedown stuffed and Pep counters with a lovely shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kowa tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pep is able to avoid easily. Kowa closes the distance looking to clinch and Pep counters with a nice right hand that sends Kowa toppling to the canvas! Kowa scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Pep finish him?!

It looks like Just Kowa has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pep moves into range and clinches up with Kowa. Pep has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kowa is trying to keep an underhook but Pep manages to get the takedown into half guard. Kowa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pep sitting and controlling from the half guard. Pep passes to side control. Pep works to advance to full mount. Kowa defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Kowa is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pep punching from mount but Kowa doing a good job of avoiding damage. Pep tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Pep lands a big elbow. Kowa is still in real trouble! Can Pep finish him? Kowa looks winded! Pep lands a big shot to the head and Kowa winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Barin Pep!
