Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between George Peterson (ranked 3202 p4p, 126 weight class) and Dick Doss (ranked 25128 p4p, 220 weight class). Peterson comes into the arena with XXXTENTACION - FUXK (Feat. Ski Mask blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, George Peterson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Dick Doss!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doss throws a series of punches but Peterson avoids them all with ease.
Doss throws a head kick that misses.
Peterson listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Peterson throws a poor cross that misses
and Doss cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
George Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peterson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Doss manages to avoid it.
Peterson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Doss.

and Doss cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


It looks like George Peterson has been cut.
Doss dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Doss throws a jab when Peterson was well out of range.

Doss lands a head shot.
A punch lands to the side of Peterson 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Doss has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Doss throws a series of punches but Peterson moves out of range.
Peterson is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Peterson tests Doss's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Doss throws a hook but Peterson avoids it easily.

Doss motions for Peterson to come forward. Doss throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Peterson moves out of range of the body kick.

Peterson darts in and clinches Doss up against the ropes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Peterson pushes Doss back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The referee is keeping an eye on Peterson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Doss blocks an elbow strike.

Doss is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Peterson rushes Doss and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Doss can't break the clinch.

Doss manages to break the clinch.
Doss throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Peterson lands a really nice looking cross but Doss seems unphased.
Peterson ducks under a wild hook from Doss.
Peterson feinted there with a counter leg kick.

A close round but Dick Doss will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Peterson tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Doss manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dick Doss seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Peterson slips a jab from Doss.
Peterson avoids the head kick by Doss.
Doss tries to move into range but Peterson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peterson misses with an uppercut

Peterson wants to clinch but Doss slips to the side

and Doss counters with a straight right that drops Peterson on his ass! Peterson jumps back to his feet. He seems OK to continue so we'll get back to the action.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doss walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Doss has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Doss bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Peterson walks into a big right hand from Doss and goes down! The referee sends Doss to a neutral corner as Peterson gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Peterson wants to land a leg kick but Doss is out of range.
Doss misses with a straight left.
A low kick from Doss is predictable there
and Peterson counters with a nice uppercut.
Doss throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Peterson misses with a lunging right hand
and Doss counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Doss shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


It looks like Dick Doss has been cut.
Doss keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Peterson.
Peterson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Doss lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Peterson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Doss connects with a good right hand that stumbles Peterson. Peterson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Peterson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Doss in his tracks.
Doss throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Some bone on bone action there as Peterson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A chopping leg kick lands by Doss.
Doss throws a nice inside leg kick.

Peterson lands a jab to Doss's midsection.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dick Doss will take that one after putting his opponent down more than once in the round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Peterson scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Doss beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Good leg kick by Peterson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Peterson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Doss.
Peterson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Doss paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Peterson connects with a body shot that sends Doss's belly button to the back.
Dick Doss is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Peterson looks to score with a jab to the body but Doss is just out of range.
Doss takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Peterson tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Doss manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Doss throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Peterson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
George Peterson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Nice body punch from Peterson - that landed with a thud.
A bit of stalling here from Peterson.
Peterson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Peterson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Peterson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Peterson cracks Doss with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Doss get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Doss looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Doss is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Peterson doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Doss crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Doss's bad books for that mishap!

George Peterson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
