Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franz Fritz (ranked 4402 p4p, 511 weight class) and Adam Webber (ranked 25680 p4p, 761 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Webber!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webber lands a head shot.
Fritz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fritz slips under a jab.
Fritz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fritz ducks under a wild hook from Webber.
Webber ducks under a wild hook from Fritz.
Webber is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Fritz with a body shot.
Fritz throws a body shot but no joy.
A jab from Fritz misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Webber! But no joy.
Webber throws a right hand that Fritz ducks under and follows up with a left that Fritz also avoids with ease.
Webber throws a hook but Fritz avoids it easily.
Webber ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fritz moves away.
Webber throws a looping overhand right but Fritz ducks down to avoid it.

Fritz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Webber napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The strikes coming from Fritz are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

An elbow from Fritz crashes against the mat.
Fritz misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Fritz cracks Webber with a big elbow.
Webber tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Fritz content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Fritz scores with a couple of short elbows.

Fritz wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Webber, who protects the arm well.
Fritz remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Fritz postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Webber wants to control but Fritz postures up.
Fritz working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Webber is working to avoid the ground and pound but Fritz connects with a decent elbow.

Webber is rocked!
Fritz lands a big left to the face of Webber, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Fritz and another - Webber is out! Fritz stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.
