Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nash Andrews! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Francis Ungau! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ungau doesn't manage to clinch there - Andrews circles away.
Ungau fails in his attempt to clinch. Andrews tries to counter with a takedown but Ungau is quick to defend against it. Ungau rushes Andrews and presses him up against the cage. Ungau prevents the takedown attempt.
Andrews wants a takedown.
Andrews is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ungau to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nash Andrews. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ungau just misses with a elbow thrown towards Andrews's brow. Andrews avoids the elbow strike from Ungau, against the cage.
Andrews tries to pull guard but Ungau forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andrews blocks the elbow strike.

Andrews definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ungau throws a knee to the head but misses.
Ungau tries a knee to the head but Andrews blocks it.
Andrews has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ungau regains guard immediately. Ungau is looking to stand back up but Andrews counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ungau.
Andrews is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Andrews will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andrews is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. This has been an exciting period of action! Andrews prevents Ungau from standing back up.
Andrews in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Ungau tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Andrews!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nash Andrews! Nash Andrews very nearly forgot to thank Hot Spunk amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
