Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jet Li (ranked 5275 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angry Gopher (ranked 5008 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jet Li! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Angry Gopher! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gopher shoots for a double leg takedown but Li sprawls well. He's pushed Gopher's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Gopher will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. No luck for Gopher with that takedown attempt. Jet Li has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Angry Gopher. A nice leg kick lands there from Li. Li throws a sloppy head kick and Gopher moves out of range easily. Gopher doesn't succeed with the takedown and Li counters with a nice body shot. Angry Gopher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gopher tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Li swivels and escapes. Li dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gopher. That did some damage! Li throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gopher's head. Li gets caught flat footed, as Gopher shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Gopher postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Li is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gopher, into his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gopher is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Li defends well. Gopher is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Li is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li wants to stand but Gopher has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Li wants to pass the guard but Gopher is keeping the position. Gopher had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Li defends it easily. Li trying to control the position from guard on top but Gopher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Li rolls with it to try and escape but Gopher cranks on the arm and Li is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
