Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tapu Koko (ranked 4108 p4p, 476 weight class) and Island Rebel (ranked 5294 p4p, 543 weight class). Koko comes to the cage accompanied by Aotearoa. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rebel.
Koko with a jab.
Koko throws a big shot that misses.
Koko on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Tapu Koko has been cut.
Koko lands a glancing blow to the side of Rebel's head.
Rebel is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Rebel misses with a lunging right hand
and Koko counters with a straight right hand.
Koko misses with a double jab.
Rebel misses with a left hand
and Koko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Koko takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Koko throws a hook but Rebel blocks it.
Rebel moves away from the strike by Koko.
Rebel throws a jab when Koko was well out of range.
Rebel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rebel sends Koko crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rebel is motioning to the referee to let Koko up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Koko is rocked!
A left lands for Koko.
Oh Koko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rebel fakes the body blow, causing Koko to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Koko goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
