Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boe Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo T A (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bam comes to the cage accompanied by Jacare. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Timo T A!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
T A blocks a jab.
Bam scores with a leg kick.
Bam lands a left and a right that sends T A crashing to the canvas! Bam dives into mount looking to finish!


T A is rocked!
Bam can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as T A is looking to escape.
T A really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
T A manages to regain half guard. Good work.
T A is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bam controlling the pace.
Bam is looking to take a break and control but T A is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bam passes to side control.
T A tries to improve position but can't.

Bam tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

T A gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
T A is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bam wants to control the pace but T A is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
T A sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

T A bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bam's guard.
Bam is trying to keep T A in close.

Bam is breathing heavily.
T A pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bam is keeping the position for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bam scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
T A rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bam moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
T A takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bam misses with a double jab

and T A counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
T A trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Bam looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bam wants to sweep here but T A controlling him for the moment.

T A thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

T A has gone for a leg lock! Bam slips out almost immediately though and dives into T A's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
T A keeping full guard, as Bam tries to pass.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boe Bam dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bam swings for the body but T A moves out of range.
Bam misses with a hook.
Boe Bam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
T A throws a series of punches but Bam moves out of range.
Bam ducks down and throws a hook to the body but T A moves away.
T A dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bam looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bam misses with a double jab.
Boe Bam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
T A wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Bam shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in T A's guard.

T A has his foot on Bam's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bam works his way back into a safe position though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bam throws a combination but it was largely blocked by T A.

The crowd cheers as T A lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bam doesn't seem phased though.
Bam throws a sloppy body shot
and T A counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bam with a lazy takedown attempt
and T A counters with a series of strikes. Bam will be more careful next time no doubt.
T A throws a nice looking combination but Bam bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
T A lands a nice shot to the body.
Bam ducks right into an uppercut from T A.
Bam misses with the combination.
A combination from T A does no damage.

T A lands with a hook. Bam tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
T A throws a combination. Bam tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
T A scores with a shot to the body.
T A throws a series of punches but Bam avoids them all with ease.
T A closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Bam takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bam dodges the punch combination from T A.
T A lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Bam decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
T A regains full guard. Nicely done.
Bam controlling from the top position.
T A looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bam is one step ahead there.

T A has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bam is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for T A.

Bam is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. T A knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bam is looking to take a break and control but T A is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Timo T A showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

T A connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bam's hands.
T A slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Bam motions for T A to come forward. Bam throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bam falls off balance throwing a combination

and T A counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

T A drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bam manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now T A has Bam in his guard.
Bam trying to control the position from guard on top but T A is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bam trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

T A looking for a guillotine here but Bam defends easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bam wants to control from the top but T A keeps moving.

T A is looking for a triangle but Bam pushes his legs off easily.
Bam slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
T A is not content to let Bam control the position.
T A is looking for a sweep.
Bam works to advance to full mount. T A defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bam with a couple of short strikes.
T A is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Bam looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

T A is squirming around, avoiding Bam's attempts to control the action.
Bam is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because T A is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Bam is really struggling to control T A but he's trying to hold on to the position.
T A is trying desperately to improve position.

Bam looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
T A is looking to improve his position but Bam isn't that keen on the idea.
T A is squirming around, avoiding Bam's attempts to control the action.
Bam lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Bam tries to control but T A wriggling away.
T A keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bam has control of T A's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and T A regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Bam tries to control but T A wriggling away.
T A is looking to improve his position but Bam isn't that keen on the idea.
T A sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Timo T A comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well T A has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
