The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Rodionovich connects with a high kick.
Rodionovich is looking to clinch but Kelly is avoiding it.
Rodionovich is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rodionovich lands with a nice body kick.
Rodionovich misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kelly pushes Rodionovich up against the cage in a clinch.
Kelly is pressed up against the cage. Rodionovich has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kelly down to the mat. Kelly avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Rodionovich turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Kelly is trying to improve his position.
Rodionovich in side control, throwing shots but Kelly defends.

Kelly is trying to control Rodionovich's posture but Rodionovich avoids it.
Rodionovich has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kelly!

Rodionovich wants to finish this one by submission but Kelly is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rodionovich.

Rodionovich cracks Kelly with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Poor strikes thrown by Rodionovich there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Kelly tries to lock up and control but Rodionovich gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rodionovich can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kelly is looking to escape.

Rodionovich looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Kelly tries to hold on but Rodionovich pushes him away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rodionovich wants to stand but Kelly is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Kelly is in a horrible position here. Rodionovich smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alexei Rodionovich dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Rodionovich throws a lazy right hand but Kelly sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Alexei Rodionovich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kelly is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rodionovich throws a nice looking combination but Kelly bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rodionovich fails to land with a series of punches.

Kelly moves into range and clinches up with Rodionovich.
Kelly blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Rodionovich is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kelly pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Rodionovich tries to score a body lock takedown but Kelly shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Rodionovich takes an elbow to the temple.
Rodionovich has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kelly lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Alexei Rodionovich has been cut.
Kelly creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Rodionovich's defenses.

Kelly lands a vicious elbow to the side of Rodionovich's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Kelly tries to finish him with strikes but Rodionovich still seems able to defend himself so Kelly steps back and lets Rodionovich get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Rodionovich is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kelly bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Rodionovich is still on wobbly legs! Can Kelly finish him?

Kelly gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kelly has Rodionovich pressed against the cage. He pushes Rodionovich back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Kelly throws a beautiful elbow that sends Rodionovich crashing to the floor! Kelly piles on the pressure with more strikes! Rodionovich is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
