Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wayne De Swardt (ranked 4576 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ding Dong (ranked 5055 p4p, 474 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wayne De Swardt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ding Dong! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Dong misses. De Swardt looks for a takedown but Dong sprawls well. De Swardt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Wayne De Swardt has been cut. De Swardt shoots in looking for a takedown. Dong tries to sprawl out of it but De Swardt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dong with a lazy takedown attempt and De Swardt holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. De Swardt tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wayne De Swardt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dong has had enough of the clinch but De Swardt keeps him there for the moment. Dong tries to break free but De Swardt pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Swardt is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dong gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. De Swardt is trying to drag Dong to the mat but Dong just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. De Swardt changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dong fights it off and pushes away nicely.
De Swardt scoring well with a low kick there.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from Dong misses. De Swardt shoots for a double leg takedown but Dong sprawls well. He's pushed De Swardt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. De Swardt goes for a double leg but Dong avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dong continues to drive forward. De Swardt fails to land the takedown. De Swardt darts in and clinches Dong up against the cage. Dong taking a breather. De Swardt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dong goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Dong sends De Swardt crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dong is motioning to the referee to let De Swardt up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
De Swardt is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dong throws a head kick but De Swardt moves out of range.
Oh De Swardt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! De Swardt gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Dong points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. De Swardt wakes up just in time to hear Dong thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ding Dong! A very excited looking Ding Dong made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
