The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mardle throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Mardle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tyler circles away quickly and effectively.
Mardle misses with a wild body shot.
Mardle keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mardle connects with a body shot.
Mardle connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tyler's hands.
A decent looking cross lands there for Tyler.
Mardle moves out of range of the body kick.
Mardle takes a swing at Tyler's ribcage but misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Tyler misses.

Mardle cracks Tyler with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tyler looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mardle finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mardle steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Tyler is out on his feet! Mardle sets himself and nearly takes Tyler's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
