Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyle Alzado (ranked 365 p4p, 56 weight class) and Hercules Fortier (ranked 492 p4p, 71 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alzado looks to score with a jab to the body but Fortier is just out of range.
Fortier is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Alzado.
Alzado looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fortier misses with a left hand
and Alzado counters with a good low kick that Fortier was not able to check.
Fortier slips a jab and a cross from Alzado.
Fortier swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fortier dives in and scores a takedown into Alzado's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fortier scoring with punches to the head and body.
Fortier stops Alzado from standing up.
Fortier throws a big elbow that misses.
Fortier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alzado swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fortier trying to move into half guard but instead Alzado has managed to sweep!
Alzado wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Fortier's closed guard. He's half up but Fortier has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Fortier pivots and extends the arm, Alzado falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Fortier! Well done that man!
