Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kali Turner (ranked 6625 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Goy (ranked 5199 p4p, 0 weight class). Turner has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Kali Turner has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner takes a swing at Goy 's ribcage but misses.
Turner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Goy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Goy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turner is breathing heavily.
A bit of a lull in the action here.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Turner throws a big right hand that misses.

Turner scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Turner throws a big counter combination but Goy scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Goy throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Goy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Goy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Turner, pushing him back against the cage.
Goy ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Goy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Goy is trying to keep Turner in close.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Turner throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Goy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Goy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Turner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Goy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Turner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Turner gets tackled into the cage by Goy . Goy maintains the clinch.
Turner wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Goy tries to score a body lock takedown but Turner shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Goy throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Turner enables Goy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Turner manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Goy connects with a couple of short punches.

Goy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Turner haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Goy gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Turner is trying to break the clinch but Goy is controlling him.

Turner avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Goy .

Turner on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Turner tries to improve position but can't.
Goy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Turner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Turner is not content to let Goy control the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Goy is trying to ground and pound but Turner uses the momentary lack of control by Goy to regain half guard.
Goy is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Goy is stalling here. Turner is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Goy seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Turner has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Goy is looking to regain half guard here but Turner keeps moving and retains side control.

Big Goy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Goy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
