Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sami Steele (ranked 751 p4p, 46 weight class) and Kiril Bohizdar (ranked 1117 p4p, 67 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sami Steele! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kiril Bohizdar! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steele throws out a leg kick but Bohizdar moves out of range and Steele only half commits. It seemed like Bohizdar was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Steele missing with a left hand there. Bohizdar was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A slapping leg kick lands for Steele.

Steele definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Steele looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A shot in the inside from Steele. A short body shot lands from Bohizdar as the two fighters clinch.

He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Bohizdar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bohizdar with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Steele to score with a decent uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bohizdar tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steele rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bohizdar counters with a nice body shot. A low kick from Steele misses and Bohizdar counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Steele! Bohizdar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Steele keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
