Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Silva (ranked 975 p4p, 125 weight class) and Macho Man Savage (ranked 1420 p4p, 181 weight class). Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, URSO O INVENCÍVEL. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Macho Man Savage!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Savage tries a head kick but it misses.
Silva walks into a left hand.
Savage misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Savage has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Silva is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Savage tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Savage.
Savage misses with a wild combination.
Savage misses with a double jab.
Macho Man Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Silva shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Savage is looking to escape.
Silva passes the guard and advances to mount!
Savage is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Silva pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Savage is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Savage has given up his back. Will we see Silva going for some submissions?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Savage is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Savage is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Silva off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Savage is trying to get back to his feet but Silva has full control of the position and if anything, Savage has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Silva working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Savage is doing well to defend. Silva seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Savage is forced to tap and this one is over!
