Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buster shoots for a double leg takedown but The Poodle sprawls well. He's pushed Buster's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Buster throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around The Poodle's waist but The Poodle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Buster off to one side.
Buster looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? The Poodle is fending him off so far but Buster persists. Nope, The Poodle circles away and we're back to standing.
Tommy The Poodle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tager Genesic Buster.

Tager Genesic Buster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The Poodle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The Poodle connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
