And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Henderson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Check out the look on Henderson 's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Henderson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Henderson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Henderson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Henderson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kimura is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Henderson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kimura knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Henderson stands up.
Henderson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kimura sprawls well. Kimura wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Henderson gets slowly back to his feet.

Ryan Henderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henderson fails with a takedown attempt.
Kimura looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Henderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Kimura sprawls well. He's pushed Henderson 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tatsuya Kimura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Henderson .

Henderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Kimura escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Henderson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kimura is looking to cinch up a triangle. Henderson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kimura's body to avoid the submission. Kimura has instead reached around Henderson 's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kimura arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
