Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paulo Blikstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edith Reaves!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blikstein lands with a straight right. Reaves didn't see that one coming.
Blikstein lands a slapping body shot.
Reaves throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Blikstein has managed to clinch.
Reaves tries to pull guard but Blikstein won't allow it.
Blikstein lands a body punch in the clinch.

Reaves is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Blikstein can't fight it off and eventually Reaves manages to take the fight to the floor. Blikstein looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Blikstein has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reaves can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Blikstein seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Reaves pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blikstein is keeping the position for now.
Reaves stops Blikstein from standing up.

Blikstein trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blikstein is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Blikstein looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Reaves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Reaves passes Blikstein's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Blikstein misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Blikstein wants to get back to his feet.
Blikstein is looking for a sweep. Reaves is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Reaves is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Reaves is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Blikstein doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Reaves.

Reaves trying to control the action but Blikstein is working from the bottom.
Blikstein is trying to stand up here but Reaves is controlling him well.
Well, if Reaves is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Blikstein is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Blikstein is trying to control but can't.

Reaves is trying to work for a kimura but Blikstein is defending well.
Blikstein is refusing to be controlled, as Reaves sits in half guard.
Blikstein is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Blikstein is doing well to control the position and prevent Reaves from advancing to side control.
Reaves has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Blikstein is working to get back to half guard.

Reaves has control of Blikstein's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Blikstein regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Blikstein wants to control but Reaves is having none of it.

Reaves looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Reaves looking to isolate an arm here. Blikstein doesn't see it coming and as Reaves extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Reaves!
