The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thompson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kinghtfall swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Thompson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kinghtfall won't allow Thompson to pass to mount.

Kinghtfall drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Thompson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kinghtfall has Thompson in his guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Utred Kinghtfall.
