The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Van Doen throws a sloppy head kick and Morrison moves out of range easily.

Morrison is trying to trip Van Doen. He has hold of a leg but Van Doen is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Morrison persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
