The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barcia tries to clinch there but Yawa circles away.
Barcia gets the takedown into side control.
Barcia controlling the position from side mount.
Yawa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barcia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Yawa trying to control but Barcia flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Barcia lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Yawa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Barcia controlling the positon.
Barcia gets his hands free as Yawa looks to control.
