Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blob Blobber (ranked 4986 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny Hutchens (ranked 3620 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blobber misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hutchens counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hutchens bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Blobber's head backwards.
Blobber misses with a lunging right hand
and Hutchens counters with a stiff right hand.
Hutchens throws out a loose jab but Blobber uses good head movement to avoid it.
Blobber looks to score with a jab to the body but Hutchens is just out of range.
Hutchens tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Blobber manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Blobber with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hutchens to score with a decent uppercut.
Blobber misses with a shot to the body
and Hutchens counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hutchens tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Blobber manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hutchens looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Blobber takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hutchens lands with a nice body punch.

Blobber scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Hutchens keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are battling for position here. Hutchens manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Hutchens tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hutchens pulls Blobber in to control the position.
Blobber sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Blobber throws an elbow that misses. Hutchens uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Blobber's guard. Nice move by Hutchens!

Blobber is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Blobber pulls Hutchens in close to prevent any damage.

Hutchens tries to free his leg and advance position but Blobber is retaining full guard.
Hutchens prevents Blobber from getting back to his feet.

Hutchens not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Blobber on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Blobber tries to get out of the position.

Blobber looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hutchens puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Hutchens is trying to control the action in half guard but Blobber is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hutchens content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Hutchens throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Hutchens scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hutchens tests Blobber's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Blobber takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hutchens lands with an uppercut that bounces Blobber off the cage and back into range.

Hutchens punishes Blobber's body with a nice straight punch.
Blobber is breathing heavily.

and Hutchens connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Hutchens moves into the clinch successfully.

Hutchens lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hutchens pushes Blobber back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hutchens scores with a nice hook to the head.
Come on Hutchens - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Blobber throws a body punch but Hutchens moves out of range.
Hutchens has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hutchens uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blobber.
Blobber swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Blob Blobber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Hutchens counters with a straight that turns Blobber's legs to rubber! Hutchens pushes forward with more strikes and Blobber goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
