The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Sinsuki with that takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Chumbo. No joy for Sinsuki on that attempt.
Chumbo scores with a takedown into Sinsuki 's guard.
Chumbo throws an elbow that misses. Sinsuki uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chumbo's guard. Nice move by Sinsuki !

Sinsuki takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Sinsuki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sinsuki is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Chumbo has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Sinsuki has control of Chumbo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Chumbo regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Chumbo tries to lock up and control but Sinsuki gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Chief Chumbo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chumbo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
As Chumbo looks to move away, Sinsuki throws a big counter combo but Chumbo just gets out of the way.
Chumbo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sinsuki scores with a leg kick.
Chumbo gets the takedown into side control.
Sinsuki sneaks out the side door and pushes Chumbo away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Sinsuki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Well, if Sinsuki is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Sinsuki seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Chumbo for as long as he can get away with.
Sinsuki wants to control but Chumbo is keeping him busy.
Still in half guard, Sinsuki seems content to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sinsuki closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Chumbo is looking for a takedown.
Sinsuki changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Chumbo fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Chumbo throws a hook to the side of Sinsuki 's head but Sinsuki sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sinsuki throws a head kick that Chumbo semi-blocks.

Sinsuki is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Chumbo presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Chumbo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sinsuki pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Hyoki Sinsuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chief Chumbo.

Sinsuki ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sinsuki no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Sinsuki sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chumbo's guard.

Sinsuki slips a nice elbow through Chumbo's hands, connecting with Chumbo's forehead.
