The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slamcock connects with a nice looking jab.
Slamcock throws a head kick but De Jong moves out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Slamcock has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
De Jong throws a hook but Slamcock blocks it.
A little feinted left hand from Slamcock on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Slamcock displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as De Jong throws out the jab.
Slamcock throws a head kick that half lands.
Slamcock scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Slamcock lands a lovely overhand right.
Slamcock bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
De Jong misses with a straight right.
De Jong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Slamcock throws a nice head kick!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
De Jong misses with an uppercut. Slamcock saw that one coming.
De Jong throws a body shot but no joy.

and Slamcock counters with a stiff right hand.
Slamcock throws a series of strikes that have De Jong backpedaling.
Slamcock uses good head movement to avoid the hook from De Jong.
Tito Slamcock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

De Jong is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Slamcock.

De Jong throws a jab but it's blocked by Slamcock.
De Jong misses with a straight left.
Nice defenses there by Slamcock.
Slamcock avoids the body shot from De Jong.
Slamcock ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
De Jong waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Slamcock.
Slamcock scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slamcock comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
De Jong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
De Jong walks into a straight right hand from Slamcock.
De Jong might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

and Slamcock counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
De Jong misses with a low kick as Slamcock jumps back.
De Jong wants to slow Slamcock down by chopping away at his legs.
Slamcock fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Slamcock lands with a nice combination. De Jong backs away looking to recover.

and De Jong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
De Jong swings and misses with a hook to the body.

De Jong takes a kick to the side of the head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Slamcock connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
De Jong lands a nice shot that snaps Slamcock's head back.

Tito Slamcock showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Slamcock has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
