The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Philippe looks to throw the jab but Totoroaere is out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Totoroaere darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Philippe moves out of range as Totoroaere strikes.
Totoroaere shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Davey Totoroaere has been cut.
Totoroaere scores with a sloppy right hand. Philippe should have avoided that one.
Good leg kick by Totoroaere there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Totoroaere misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Totoroaere throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Philippe swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Totoroaere ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Totoroaere lands a nice shot that snaps Philippe's head back.
Totoroaere swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Philippe misses with an uppercut.
Totoroaere now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Totoroaere throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Totoroaere uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Philippe.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Totoroaere avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Philippe avoids the body shot from Totoroaere.
Totoroaere slips a jab from Philippe.
Totoroaere lands a two punch combo.

Philippe catches Totoroaere napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Totoroaere to the canvas!
