Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lee Everett (ranked 4762 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vaclav Mikulasek (ranked 5047 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Everett might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Grim Ranger. Mikulasek has chosen Macklemore - Over It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Everett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vaclav Mikulasek! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Everett. Mikulasek fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Everett wants to clinch. A combination from Mikulasek does no damage. Everett tries a head kick but it misses.
Mikulasek throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. As Mikulasek tries to get set, Everett tries to push him back and clinch up but Mikulasek manages to avoid the attempt. Mikulasek swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A swing and a miss from Everett. Everett tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mikulasek lands with a nice body punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mikulasek looks to land a body kick but Everett moved away. Everett rushes Mikulasek and presses him up against the cage. Everett swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Everett tries to work over Mikulasek's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Mikulasek managing to block the knees to the body from Everett.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee calls for Everett to work.
Everett swings wildly with an uppercut but Mikulasek uses good head movement to avoid it. Everett lands a damaging elbow. Still in the clinch, Everett scores with a nice short uppercut. Mikulasek jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Everett walks away with a smile on his face. Mikulasek gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Mikulasek looks for the body kick but Everett saw that one coming. Everett throws a head kick but Mikulasek moves out of range.
Mikulasek fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mikulasek connects with a body shot that sends Everett's belly button to the back. Everett clinches. Everett lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Everett throws a head punch that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mikulasek takes an elbow to the forehead. Mikulasek has had enough of the clinch but Everett keeps him there for the moment. Mikulasek is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Everett to keep the fight standing. A short uppercut from Everett. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mikulasek blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Everett's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Everett working aggressively here.
Everett misses with a hook from the clinch. Mikulasek has Everett pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Everett manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Lee Everett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vaclav Mikulasek. Everett keeps control of Mikulasek as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mikulasek takes an elbow to the forehead. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Everett obliges. Everett slowing the pace effectively. Everett trying to land knees to the body.

Mikulasek is trying to pull guard but Everett has him pressed against the cage. Mikulasek is looking to break free of the clinch but Everett has double underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Everett with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Mikulasek wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Everett lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mikulasek backwards. Everett misses with a body punch.
Mikulasek jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Everett walks away with a smile on his face. Mikulasek gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Everett is looking to clinch but Mikulasek is avoiding it.
Everett paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Mikulasek defending well as Everett loads up on a big left hand. Mikulasek is looking for the big counter here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Everett lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Mikulasek throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lee Everett dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mikulasek lands a left and a right that send Everett crashing to the mat, dazed. Mikulasek thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Lee Everett has been cut. Everett moves in looking to clinch but Mikulasek pushes him off. Everett rushes Mikulasek and presses him up against the cage. Everett is pushing Mikulasek up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. With the fighters up against the cage, Everett throws an elbow but misses. Mikulasek has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mikulasek fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Mikulasek has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Everett uses from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Everett stands up and waves to Mikulasek to follow him. Mikulasek is looking to score with low kicks. Everett swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mikulasek dives in for a single leg takedown but Everett sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Everett is looking to clinch. Mikulasek just misses with a punch to the body.
A combination from Mikulasek does no damage. Mikulasek closes the distance and lands a one-two. Everett connects with a high kick.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mikulasek fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lee Everett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vaclav Mikulasek. Mikulasek is breathing heavily. Mikulasek shoots for a double leg takedown but Everett sprawls well. He's pushed Mikulasek's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Everett scores with a head kick.

Mikulasek is rocked! Mikulasek gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Lee Everett! After winning the bout, Lee Everett thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. In defeat, Vaclav Mikulasek stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose but it doesn't matter. It's all about fighting and Lee was really tough opponent and congratulations to him for victory. But next time my brother I'll gut you like a fish!'.
