Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Darren (ranked 122 p4p, 19 weight class) and George Salvador (ranked 62 p4p, 8 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Darren might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Here's to the losers. James Darren has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, James Darren! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, George Salvador! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darren wants to clinch. Salvador lands a jab to the nose. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darren moves into range and clinches up with Salvador. Salvador goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Salvador's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Darren lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Darren closes the distance but Salvador moves to the side and Darren takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Darren misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Salvador lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Darren backs up against the cage.
Salvador tries to keep at a distance but Darren has taken the fight into the clinch. Salvador lands a good knee to the midsection. Darren won't want to take too many of those. Salvador's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Salvador misses with a hook. Darren ducked under it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvador throws a chopping leg kick but Darren manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Salvador looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Nice body punch from Salvador. Darren tries to clinch up but Salvador circles away and keeps his distance. Salvador now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Salvador takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Darren tries to clinch but Salvador moves out of range. Salvador tries to bum rush Darren with a series of wild strikes but Darren uses good footwork to avoid the assault. We've been told by Darren's head coaches at Oblivion Gate that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Darren tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Salvador paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Darren throws a leg kick and Salvador counters with a slapping leg kick. A jab from Salvador does it's job there. Salvador misses with the body kick and Darren counters with a nice uppercut. Darren throws a predictable looking body shot
and Salvador counters with a nice body kick. Darren fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Salvador checks it well. Darren misses with a low kick as Salvador jumps back. Darren takes a body punch but keeps moving. Salvador lands a big head kick that sends Darren tumbling to the mat! Salvador takes a step backwards and waves Darren back to his feet - he wants the finish!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Salvador lands a big head kick that sends Darren to the canvas! Salvador follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Salvador! After the fight, George Salvador was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. James Darren was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm a loser!'.
