Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Arones (ranked 879 p4p, 135 weight class) and Thor Hammer (ranked 896 p4p, 139 weight class). Arones comes into the arena with Lonely is the night blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer scores with a three punch combo!
Arones takes a kick to the side of the head.
A left and a right from Hammer both land. Nice combination.
Hammer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hammer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Arones. That did some damage!
Hammer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Arones is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hammer.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Arones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A head kick from Hammer lands but Arones takes it in his stride.
Hammer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Arones.
Arones was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Arones throws a good cross that connects.
Arones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hammer defends it nicely.
Arones drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Arones is looking to work some ground and pound but Hammer has wrist control.
We've been hearing that Arones has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Hammer seems keen to control Arones's posture.

Arones working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hammer's head.
Arones is looking to work some ground and pound but Hammer has wrist control.
Hammer has momentary wrist control but Arones slips an elbow through the middle.
Arones sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Hammer doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Arones paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Hammer - great work!

A relieved looking Thor Hammer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
