Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Marshall (ranked 3055 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hyoki Sinsuki (ranked 3491 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyoki Sinsuki acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Franklin Marshall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Hyoki Sinsuki ! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sinsuki goes for a double leg but Marshall avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Marshall continues to drive forward. Marshall swats away the attempt to clinch by Sinsuki . Marshall motions for Sinsuki to come forward. Marshall throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sinsuki throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Marshall closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sinsuki to the mat! Sinsuki manages to get full guard. Sinsuki wants to get back to his feet but Marshall passes into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sinsuki moves into full guard.
Marshall postures up.
Sinsuki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sinsuki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall wants to improve his position but Sinsuki is controlling well.
Marshall controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Sinsuki slows the pace down in half guard. Sinsuki 's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sinsuki passes to full mount! Marshall is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Marshall wants to control but Sinsuki is having none of it. Sinsuki lands a heavy elbow. Marshall can't escape the position.
Marshall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sinsuki on the ground. Sinsuki pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Sinsuki misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Marshall takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Sinsuki stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Sinsuki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marshall's waist but Marshall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sinsuki off to one side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marshall moves into the clinch. Marshall is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Marshall is breathing heavily. Sinsuki wants to break free but Marshall has control.

Sinsuki ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sinsuki no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sinsuki looking to control.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hyoki Sinsuki dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Marshall rushes Sinsuki and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Sinsuki fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Marshall tries to break the clinch but Sinsuki is controlling the position. Sinsuki throws an elbow but it misses.
Marshall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nice takedown defense from Marshall. No joy for Sinsuki on that attempt. Marshall tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Sinsuki manages to circle out of the way. Sinsuki avoids the body shot from Marshall.
A countering left hand to the body from Sinsuki misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marshall clinches with his opponent.
Sinsuki prevents Marshall from breaking the clinch. Sinsuki is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Marshall has Sinsuki pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sinsuki manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sinsuki jumps guard but Marshall turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Franklin Marshall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hyoki Sinsuki . Sinsuki tries to score a body lock takedown but Marshall shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Marshall stalling against the cage.
Sinsuki is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Marshall is defending well. Marshall has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sinsuki uses from the top position. Sinsuki is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Marshall looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Sinsuki passes into half guard.
Sinsuki perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marshall wants to sweep but Sinsuki has passed to side control! Sinsuki wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Marshall, who protects the arm well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sinsuki in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Marshall is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Hyoki Sinsuki !
