The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bob is trying to control Jones's posture but Jones avoids it.
Bob takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Jones cracks Bob with a big elbow.
Jones tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Bob is looking to regain half guard here but Jones keeps moving and retains side control.
Bob wants to control but Jones postures up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bob can do anything to dispel that myth.
