Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mattox Jimbern!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimbern clinches up against the cage.
Cristo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Cristo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jimbern has him pressed against the cage.

Jimbern gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cristo regains guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jimbern has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cristo is proving hard to escape from.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Jimbern working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jimbern has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cristo's face.

Jimbern looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Jimbern is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Cristo!

Jimbern takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jimbern lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Cristo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Mattox Jimbern showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Cristo tries to sprawl but Jimbern drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Jimbern is looking for a kimura but Cristo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jimbern to get the leverage.
Jimbern slips a nice elbow through Cristo's hands, connecting with Cristo's forehead.

Jimbern has an Americana. Cristo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Jimbern is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jimbern hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
