Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Isaiah Sturridge (ranked 3505 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cung Lee (ranked 3169 p4p, 0 weight class). Sturridge kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gimmie The Loot - By: The Notorious BIG. Lee has chosen Warrior's Theme as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Cung Lee enters the cage!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Lee.
Sturridge jabs Lee to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sturridge thuds his right hand into Lee's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Sturridge sizes up Lee with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Sturridge lands a slapping body shot.
Sturridge swings for the body but Lee moves out of range.
Lee has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sturridge finds it's way round the side to connect with Lee's head.

Sturridge drops Lee with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lee looks back up at him and smiles so Sturridge waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Sturridge tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sturridge closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sturridge is looking to take a break and control but Lee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
