Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Rock!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Winslow throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rock feints the counter takedown.
Winslow is looking to clinch but Rock is avoiding it.
Rock is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Kurt Winslow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rock keeps the fight on the outside.
Winslow darts in trying to clinch

and Rock counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Rock is working for a kimura but Winslow is defending it quite comfortably.
Rock wants to pass the guard but Winslow is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winslow has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rock is working away from the top position though.
Rock moves into full mount! Winslow won't be happy about that!

Rock is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Winslow can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Rock looking to control and managing it successfully.
Winslow definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Rock's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Winslow on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Winslow tries to get out of the position.

Rock avoids the attempt from Winslow to control.
Rock controlling from mount.
It looks like Rock might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Rock with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Rock controlling from the full mount.
Winslow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rock on the ground.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Rock controlling the positon.

Winslow defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rock really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Winslow.
