Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brax Hutt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jakub Zbytovsky! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hutt shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Zbytovsky eats them both and turns towards Hutt to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Zbytovsky has taken the fight to the clinch.
Zbytovsky lands a nice uppercut. Zbytovsky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Zbytovsky has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Zbytovsky gets in close and instigates a clinch. Zbytovsky wants a takedown.
The referee is keeping an eye on Zbytovsky - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Zbytovsky lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Brax Hutt has been cut. Zbytovsky has Hutt pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hutt manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hutt wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Zbytovsky tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hutt smiles and moves away.
Brax Hutt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jakub Zbytovsky. Hutt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hutt went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Hutt misses with a two punch combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zbytovsky rushes Hutt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Zbytovsky unloads a knee to the mid-section.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zbytovsky digs a right hand into Hutt's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hutt's gas tank. Zbytovsky throws a punch but it's blocked by Hutt. Zbytovsky keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hutt's efforts to push away. A short right from Zbytovsky. Zbytovsky keeps control of Hutt as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Hutt avoiding damage as Zbytovsky throws knees to the body.

Zbytovsky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Zbytovsky moves into the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Hutt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zbytovsky is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hutt is defending well for now. Zbytovsky drags the fight down to the ground.
Hutt tries to stand but Zbytovsky is controlling from the bottom. Hutt wants to stand and escape but instead Zbytovsky has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Zbytovsky drops back looking for a leg! Hutt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hutt manages to kick Zbytovsky off! Zbytovsky jumps back into Hutt's guard. Hutt wants to stand and escape but Zbytovsky is having none of it. Zbytovsky trying to control but Hutt is working from the bottom. Zbytovsky advances to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hutt is looking to escape. Zbytovsky trying to control the action but Hutt is working from the bottom. Hutt is trying to stand back up but Zbytovsky is controlling him
Zbytovsky perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Zbytovsky trying to control the action but Hutt is working from the bottom. Zbytovsky landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Hutt wants to get back to his feet.
Zbytovsky wants to take a breather but Hutt is having none of it. Hutt pushes Zbytovsky off looking to stand but Zbytovsky dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Zbytovsky has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hutt tries to buck Zbytovsky off but he can't manage it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zbytovsky is in the full mount, landing strikes. Zbytovsky scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Hutt?
Hutt is rocked! Zbytovsky looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Oh Hutt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Zbytovsky cracks Hutt with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jakub Zbytovsky! A relieved looking Jakub Zbytovsky thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
