Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Ben (ranked 5372 p4p, 177 weight class) and King Panda (ranked 4118 p4p, 149 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as King Panda enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ben Ben!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, King Panda!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda tries for a takedown but Ben circles away easily
and Ben counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Panda misses the shot to the body.
Ben appears to be looking for a big counter.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Ben enables Panda to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ben manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ben can't keep his opponent in guard - Panda advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ben looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Panda is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ben sees it coming and defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Panda winds up and cracks Ben with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Panda lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Panda working Ben over with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Panda working over Ben with some ground and pound. Ben looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Ben on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Panda is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Panda winds up and cracks Ben with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ben pushes Panda off but Panda dives into side control.
Panda lands some shots froms side control.
Ben is trying to buck Panda off.
Panda creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Panda is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ben has escaped the position, nice work there.
Panda looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Panda is working Ben over with some ground and pound from side control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Panda wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ben, who protects the arm well.
Ben is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Panda's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Panda takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Ben tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Panda has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Ben wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Panda postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ben looks a forlorn figure.
Ben tries to reverse the position but Panda maintains control.
Panda breaks from Ben's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Panda looking to secure an arm triangle but Ben defends it well.
Panda with a couple of short strikes.
Panda is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Ben goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Panda!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). King Panda!
