The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolos drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Andrews wants to control but Kolos postures up.
Andrews tries to bench press Kolos off him but Kolos keeps the position.

Kolos is staying tight to Andrews's torso, preventing him from escaping.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Andrews tries to bench press Kolos off him but Kolos keeps the position.

Andrews loads up on a big right hand but Kolos slips the punch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Andrews misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kolos.
Kolos shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Andrews napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Let's hope that Kolos has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Andrews is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kolos off and has taken his back!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Andrews is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kolos is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Andrews lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Kolos.
Kolos is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Andrews is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Can Kolos hold on?! Andrews is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Kolos is trying to get back to his feet but Andrews has full control of the position and if anything, Kolos has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Andrews sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Kolos taps out!
