Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Dylan (ranked 2671 p4p, 339 weight class) and Gvido Linga (ranked 2382 p4p, 308 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gvido Linga!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Dylan finds it's way through Linga's defenses.
Linga is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Linga shoots in for a double leg but Dylan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
An attempted straight right counter from Dylan misses the target.
Dylan stuffs the takedown attempt from Linga. Linga gets slowly back to his feet.
Linga uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dylan.
Gvido Linga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Linga darts in looking for a takedown but Dylan gets double underhooks and turns Linga into the cage.
Nathan Dylan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gvido Linga.
No luck for Linga with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dylan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Linga checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Dylan is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Linga looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Dylan scores with a counter punch that sends Linga to the canvas! Dylan smells blood - he's punishing Linga with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Linga has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Nathan Dylan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
