Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jaro Lalla (ranked 1934 p4p, 111 weight class) and Ace Rob (ranked 1607 p4p, 92 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 5 losses; Jaro Lalla! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 4 losses; Ace Rob!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Rob moves into the clinch.
Lalla has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rob regains guard immediately. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Lalla (2) vs (0) Rob
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Lalla wants to pass the guard but Rob is keeping the position.
Rob is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

He's locked it up tight! Lalla's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Rob picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
