Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Jankins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leon Chaster! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chaster looking to score a takedown here. Jankins is defending well but Chaster drives through and ends up in Jankins's guard. Jankins keeping moving, preventing Chaster from controlling successfully. Jankins looking for a sweep. Not yet Jankins, not yet. Chaster controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Jankins throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Jankins is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chaster tries to free his leg and advance position but Jankins is retaining full guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jankins keeping moving, preventing Chaster from controlling successfully.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Chaster shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jankins as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaster lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jankins circles away quickly and effectively. Jankins drops down looking for a counter takedown but Chaster sprawls and moves away. Jankins dives in for a single leg takedown but Chaster sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Chaster decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Chaster not doing much here.
Chaster is trying to control the action in half guard but Jankins is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Chaster is trying to work for a kimura but Jankins is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Chaster there. Chaster is controlling the pace.
Jankins is trying to stand up here but Chaster is controlling him well. Chaster wants to stand but Jankins has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Jankins actively working from the bottom here.

Jankins looking for subs from the bottom but Chaster mounts him! Chaster stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Chaster darts in looking for a takedown but Jankins gets double underhooks and turns Chaster into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Chaster drives through and clinches with Jankins against the cage.
Chaster tries to pull guard but Jankins forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Will Jankins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leon Chaster. Chaster tries to pull guard but Jankins forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Chaster wants to take the fight to the mat but Jankins manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Chaster has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jankins after a bit of a struggle. Chaster has Jankins pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Chaster pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jankins tumbling to the mat - Chaster dives into Jankins's guard. Jankins wants to sweep here but Chaster controlling him for the moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chaster drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chaster jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Chaster controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leon Chaster dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jankins wants to clinch up but Chaster keeps it at a distance. Jankins misses with a head kick.
Jankins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chaster defends it nicely. Jankins leaves Chaster with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jankins swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chaster tries for a takedown but Jankins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chaster stuffs the takedown attempt from Jankins. Jankins gets slowly back to his feet. Chaster tries to counter with a clinch but Jankins shakes him off and moves away. Chaster keeps the fight on the outside. Chaster shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Chaster showed some decent athleticism there.

Chaster throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Chaster trying to control the pace. Jankins slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Chaster content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Chaster wants to control from the top but Jankins keeps moving. Jankins managing to control the position.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jankins wants to clinch up but Chaster keeps it at a distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Chaster looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jankins throws a series of punches but Chaster avoids them all with ease. Chaster tries to clinch there but Jankins circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jankins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chaster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jankins somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Jankins. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chaster is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jankins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jankins tries to keep at a distance but Chaster has taken the fight into the clinch. Chaster has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Chaster jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jankins walks away with a smile on his face. Chaster gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jankins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chaster paws at him with a jab and circles away. The fight moves into the clinch position. Jankins tries to pull guard but Chaster holds him up against the cage and eventually Jankins drops back down to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jankins fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Chaster wants to take the fight to the mat but Jankins manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Chaster manages to pull guard.
Jankins looking to sit in guard and control but Chaster gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Chaster passes into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chaster lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leon Chaster showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Chaster fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Chaster tries for a takedown but Jankins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Chaster fails to land the takedown. Will Jankins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leon Chaster. Jankins stuffs the takedown attempt from Chaster. Chaster gets slowly back to his feet. Jankins seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jankins. Jankins shoots in and drives through. Chaster sprawls well. Jankins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jankins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chaster swivels and escapes. Jankins throws a series of punches but Chaster moves out of range. Jankins dodges the punch combination from Chaster.
Chaster takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jankins moves out of range of the body kick. Chaster moves into the clinch successfully.
Jankins working hard to break the clinch. Chaster has clasped his hands together around Jankins's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Chaster is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jankins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jankins is not content to let Chaster control the position. Jankins avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Chaster.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jankins parries the strikes from Chaster easily there. Chaster is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jankins to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jankins is not content to let Chaster control the position. Jankins is looking to reverse the position. Chaster working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Chaster wants to control but Jankins is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chaster decides to stand back up. Will Jankins is winning the standup battle so far. Chaster gets tackled into the cage by Jankins. Jankins maintains the clinch. Chaster taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Chaster has Jankins pressed against the cage, preventing Jankins from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Chaster tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A short body shot lands from Jankins as the two fighters clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chaster tries to score a body lock takedown but Jankins shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Chaster successfully pulls guard.
Chaster keeping full guard, as Jankins tries to pass. Jankins trying to control but Chaster is working from the bottom. Jankins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chaster on the ground. Chaster tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jankins stands up from guard. Let's bang! Will Jankins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Leon Chaster is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Chaster tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jankins defends well and Chaster ends up having to push Jankins into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Jankins is looking to counter the offense by Chaster and move into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Leon Chaster. I've got Chaster winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
