Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Evan Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Mata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes into the arena with Six blaring out of the sound system. Jose Mata is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Mata!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mata lands a jab to the head.
Green doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mata lands a slapping body shot.
No luck for Green with that takedown attempt.
Mata circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mata connects with a crisp jab.
It looks like Evan Green has been cut.
Green shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mata as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Evan Green. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Green has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mata finds it's way round the side to connect with Green's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mata looks to land a combination. Green sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Mata throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Green on the side of the head.
Mata connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Green takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Green is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mata lands with a nice body punch.
Jose Mata is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Green takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Mata moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Mata scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Evan Green's cut is getting worse.
Mata connects with a nice cross there... Green is looking wobbly and Mata recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Green to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Mata jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
