TWGC 29 (265lbs, D1): Amsterdam Qualifier - Round 1 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jammal Drinkwiskey (ranked 16039 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tsuyoi Kakuto (ranked 1297 p4p, 185 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Drinkwiskey might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Distress - Progress/Regress. Kakuto has chosen Gorillaz-Dirty Harry as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 3 losses; Jammal Drinkwiskey! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 4 losses; Tsuyoi Kakuto!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Drinkwiskey isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kakuto stacks Drinkwiskey on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kakuto!

Drinkwiskey reaches up around Kakuto's neck trying to control. But Kakuto takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Drinkwiskey! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Drinkwiskey is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Kakuto celebrates the victory with the fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 10:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Tsuyoi Kakuto!
