The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Crazyhorse tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ragnarok swivels and escapes. Crazyhorse has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ragnarok is landing a low percentage of strikes. Crazyhorse dives in and grabs Ragnarok's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ragnarok pushes down on Crazyhorse's head and hops out. Crazyhorse tries to keep at a distance but Ragnarok has taken the fight into the clinch. Ragnarok tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Crazyhorse smiles and moves away.

Crazyhorse shoots in and drives through. Ragnarok sprawls well. Ragnarok fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Crazyhorse to the ground. Ragnarok is now in Crazyhorse's guard.
