The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Sinsuki shoots for a takedown but Brooks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sinsuki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brooks's waist but Brooks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sinsuki off to one side.

An inside leg kick lands from Brooks.
Sinsuki stalks Brooks and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brooks's face. Brooks staggers backwards, shaken.
Brooks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sinsuki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sinsuki lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Sinsuki is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Brooks's half guard.

I really don't envy Brooks right now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Brooks in particular looking to stall.

Brooks is pressed up against the cage. Sinsuki has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brooks down to the mat. Brooks avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Sinsuki counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Brooks is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Sinsuki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brooks tries to avoid it but Sinsuki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brooks to the ground. Brooks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brooks shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sinsuki but Sinsuki pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

I would just about give that final round to Caesar Brooks.
