The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teddy dives in and grabs Varian's left leg, looking for a takedown. Varian pushes down on Teddy's head and hops out.
Varian throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Teddy counters with a single leg into guard. Varian didn't expect that.
Teddy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Varian manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Teddy manages to get himself to full guard.
Varian thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

I would just about give that final round to Ted Teddy.
Well Teddy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
