Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Johnson (ranked 4665 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Trump (ranked 2580 p4p, 322 weight class). Johnson comes into the arena with Metallica - Dream No More blaring out of the sound system. Trump has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The key to victory for Eric Johnson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trump misses with a lunging right hand
and Johnson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Trump looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Trump sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Johnson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Johnson misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Johnson tries to stand but Trump is controlling his head.

Johnson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Johnson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Trump, who protects the arm well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trump can do anything to dispel that myth.

Johnson has an Americana. Trump didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Johnson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Johnson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
