Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Garcia (ranked 1301 p4p, 171 weight class) and Lucas Mereani (ranked 3475 p4p, 400 weight class). Garcia comes to the cage accompanied by S.G. Sinnicks - St Patrick Battalion. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Garcia.
It looks like Lucas Mereani has been cut.
Garcia scores with a hook.
Garcia lands with a shot to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Garcia!
Garcia has taken the fight to the clinch.
Garcia creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Mereani's defenses.
Mereani is rocked!
Garcia lands a vicious elbow to the side of Mereani's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Garcia tries to finish him with strikes but Mereani still seems able to defend himself so Garcia steps back and lets Mereani get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Mereani is still on wobbly legs! Can Garcia finish him?
That has opened up Lucas Mereani's cut even more.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mereani is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Garcia doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Mereani crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Mereani's bad books for that mishap!
