Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Rees (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crazy Monkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monkey has chosen "Club Foot" by Kasabian as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Rees! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Crazy Monkey! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rees looks to throw the jab but Monkey is out of range. Monkey has closed the distance and engaged Rees in a clinch.
Monkey misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Rees.
Rees manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Monkey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Monkey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rees is keeping the position for now. Rees is looking for a triangle but Monkey pushes his legs off easily.
Monkey wants to get up but he can't break Rees's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Monkey wants to control from the top but Rees keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Monkey wants to pass the guard but Rees is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Monkey slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Monkey wants to stand but Rees has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rees looking for subs off his back but Monkey has passed one foot through into half guard.
Rees is pressing down on Monkey's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Monkey wants to stand and escape but instead Rees has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Monkey controlling the position. Rees looking to pass the guard. Rees is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Rees trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rees thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rees might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Monkey is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Monkey's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Monkey is trying to keep Rees in close.

Monkey is fighting to maintain full guard but Rees has managed to sneak the leg through. Rees is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Monkey doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rees. Monkey looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Monkey looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rees working over Monkey with some ground and pound. Monkey looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Rees is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Monkey sees it coming and defends easily. Monkey is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rees's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rees's back! Monkey has the hooks in. Rees is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Rees manages to reverse the position and now he's in Monkey's guard. Nice work there by Rees.

Monkey prevents Rees from moving into mount. Monkey can't do much from the bottom here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Monkey prevents Rees from improving position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Monkey feints and as Rees raises his hands in defense, Monkey changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Crazy Monkey will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like Kyle Rees has been cut. Monkey tries to clinch up but Rees circles away and keeps his distance. Monkey lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A right-left combo lands from Monkey. Monkey fails in his attempt to clinch. Rees looks to clinch and Monkey counters with a nice uppercut. Monkey punishes Rees's body with a nice straight punch. Monkey lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Monkey throws a right and a left that Rees avoids nicely. Monkey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rees has managed to clinch.
Rees tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Monkey smiles and moves away.
Nice sprawl there from Rees as Monkey shoots in. Monkey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rees can pounce on him.
Monkey fails with an attempt to clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rees shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. A nice elbow there by Rees. Monkey is working to get back to half guard.

He has one arm under the chin but Monkey has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Rees is looking for the choke from the back position but Monkey is controlling his hands well. Rees is trying to stick to Monkey's back but Monkey is turning into Rees. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Rees's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Monkey. Rees has a closed guard, preventing Monkey from standing up. Rees had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Monkey is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rees Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Monkey's back instead. Rees is trying to stick to Monkey's back but Monkey is turning into Rees. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Rees's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Monkey. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rees trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Rees trying to control the position.

Crazy Monkey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kyle Rees's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Monkey shoots and misses and Rees counters with a shoot takedown. Monkey fights it but they end up in guard. Monkey controlling the position. Rees wants to pass the guard but Monkey is keeping the position. Rees thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rees postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rees thows a big elbow that misses. Monkey is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rees wants to pass the guard but Monkey is keeping the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rees trying to control the position from guard on top but Monkey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kyle Rees overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. No luck for Monkey with that takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monkey swats away the attempt to clinch by Rees. Monkey scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Monkey looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Rees shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rees showed some decent athleticism there. Rees is looking for a kimura but Monkey is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rees to get the leverage. Monkey wants to get back to his feet. Monkey desperately trying to maintain half guard. Rees thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Monkey's head.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rees walks into a stiff left hand from Monkey. Monkey lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Monkey moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Monkey gets a clinch. Rees pulls guard effortlessly. Rees thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monkey has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rees is proving hard to escape from. Rees working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Monkey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Monkey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Monkey not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Rees trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Rees looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Monkey passes into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Monkey has knee on belly and moves into mount. Rees can't escape the position.
Monkey looking to control and managing it successfully. Rees tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Monkey controlling his opponent. Monkey prevents Rees from getting the reversal.
And that's the end of the fight! Crazy Monkey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Monkey winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
