Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Juanito Cortez (ranked 2626 p4p, 79 weight class) and Argat Khan (ranked 3135 p4p, 92 weight class). Cortez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, $$$. Khan has chosen Can't be touched as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortez tries to score with a low kick but Khan moves his leg out of the way.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Khan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Cortez throws a leg kick but Khan checks it.
Cortez throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Khan counter with a right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Khan. Cortez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cortez throws a low kick but Khan avoids it.
Khan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Khan connects with a crisp jab.
Cortez lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Cortez slips under a jab from Khan.
Khan has managed to clinch.
Khan is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Cortez.
Khan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cortez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Khan.
Khan cracks Cortez with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Cortez throws a jab but it's blocked by Khan.
Cortez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Khan finds it's way round the side to connect with Cortez's head.
Cortez thows a leg kick but Khan checks it
and Khan counters with a left and a right that stings Cortez.
Cortez is rocked!
Cortez throws a front kick aimed at Khan's knee but Khan avoids it well.
Oh Cortez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cortez checks the leg kick.
Cortez seems to have got his legs back now.

Khan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Cortez looks to land a combination. Khan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Argat Khan has been cut.
Juanito Cortez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cortez misses with a double jab.
Khan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cortez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cortez scores with a hook to the body. Khan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Khan is looking to clinch.
Cortez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cortez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Khan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cortez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cortez throws a leg kick but Khan checks it.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cortez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Khan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cortez.
Cortez takes one to the side of the head.
Cortez defending well as Khan loads up on a big left hand.
Cortez connects with a body shot.
Cortez throws out a loose jab but Khan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Khan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Cortez cracks Khan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Khan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Khan throws a sloppy head kick and Cortez moves out of range easily.

Khan tries a quick counter leg kick but Cortez is wise to it.

Khan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Khan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cortez on the side of the head.
Cortez scoring well with a low kick there.
Khan throws a series of punches but Cortez avoids them all with ease.
Cortez throws a half hearted mid kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cortez keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Khan is rocked!
Cortez is looking to slow Khan down with leg kicks.
Khan is still on wobbly legs! Can Cortez finish him?
Khan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Khan seems to have recovered his senses.
Cortez misses with a looping right.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Argat Khan will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Cortez fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Khan.
Cortez lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
No joy there for Cortez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Argat Khan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Khan moves out of range as Cortez strikes.
Khan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Khan closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Cortez crashing to the mat! Cortez uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Cortez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Khan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Cortez misses with an uppercut. Khan saw that one coming.

Some bone on bone action there as Khan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Cortez lands a jab to Khan's midsection.
Khan sizes up Cortez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That kick from Cortez tenderised Khan's leg. Khan is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Khan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cortez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cortez walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Khan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Khan's corner calls for a 1-2. Khan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Cortez tries to circle away but Khan has him pinned against the ropes.

Khan catches Cortez napping and cracks him with a perfect head kick! Cortez goes down! He's bigtime hurt! He's not going to make it back to his feet - the referee has called it off! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Argat Khan!
Argat Khan decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
The defeated Juanito Cortez had this to say: 'Well...shit happens....i will b back!'.
