Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce White Jr (ranked 4074 p4p, 374 weight class) and Jackson Pen (ranked 2333 p4p, 252 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bruce White Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Pen! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White Jr wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Pen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. White Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pen was well out of range. Poor timing from White Jr. White Jr gets a clinch. Pen is trying to break the clinch but White Jr is controlling him. White Jr throws a punch but it's blocked by Pen. A nice right hand lands inside from White Jr. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Pen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. White Jr digs a right hand into Pen's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Pen's gas tank. White Jr's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. White Jr lands with a left to the head. Nice body punch from White Jr - that landed with a thud.
Pen prevents a takedown attempt there.

White Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. White Jr clinches up with Pen and pushes him back against the cage. Pen gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. White Jr is positioning himself well to prevent Pen advancing to mount. White Jr looking for submissions off his back. White Jr trying to control from the bottom.
Pen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. White Jr doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pen. Pen is thwarting White Jr's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. White Jr looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Pen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. White Jr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pen pulls his head out easily. White Jr wants to control but Pen is keeping busy.
Pen stalling away here and it's allowed White Jr to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. White Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. White Jr is adopting a defensive guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. White Jr pulls Pen in close to prevent any damage. White Jr looking for a guillotine here but Pen defends easily.
We've been hearing good reports from White Jr's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. White Jr scores with a nice shot. Pen advances to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White Jr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pen's back! Pen defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White Jr biding his time, controlling Pen. White Jr is working the ground and pound. Can Pen escape? White Jr is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Pen is defending well though. White Jr let's go of the attempt for now. White Jr working for the choke. White Jr punches the canvas rather than the man. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce White Jr dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Pen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
White Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pen moves away. White Jr has closed the distance and engaged Pen in a clinch.
White Jr avoids the elbow strike from Pen, against the cage.
White Jr working some nice short punches in the clinch. Pen goes for a takedown attempt but White Jr pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Pen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Pen is rocked! Pen gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! White Jr gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Pen is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce White Jr!
