Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Gruzinsky (ranked 4476 p4p, 111 weight class) and Kaspars Petrovs (ranked 1742 p4p, 48 weight class). Gruzinsky comes to the cage accompanied by Overkill. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Roman Gruzinsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 22 - 0, fighting out of London, Kaspars Petrovs! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gruzinsky swings away with a leg kick that misses. Gruzinsky circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gruzinsky is looking to counter punch. Petrovs moves out of range as Gruzinsky throws a body kick.
Petrovs has closed the distance and engaged Gruzinsky in a clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Petrovs is trying to maintain a safe position but Gruzinsky gets an underhook and turns Petrovs into the cage. Gruzinsky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Petrovs rushes Gruzinsky and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gruzinsky breaks from the clinch.
Gruzinsky swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Gruzinsky finds it's way through Petrovs's defenses. Roman Gruzinsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A cross from Gruzinsky lands. Gruzinsky seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Gruzinsky takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Gruzinsky motions for Petrovs to come forward. Gruzinsky throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Petrovs wants to counter the offense by Gruzinsky and move into the clinch position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gruzinsky throws a right hand that misses
and Petrovs counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Petrovs closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gruzinsky did well to prevent Petrovs getting side control. Petrovs looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Petrovs is looking for a kimura but Gruzinsky is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Petrovs to get the leverage. Petrovs wants to work for an arm triangle but Gruzinsky is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Gruzinsky wants to get back to full guard. Petrovs is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gruzinsky doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Petrovs. Petrovs is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrovs wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gruzinsky keeps working. Gruzinsky desperately trying to maintain half guard. Petrovs seems to be working for a kimura but Gruzinsky defends the submission attempt. Gruzinsky is refusing to be controlled, as Petrovs sits in half guard. Petrovs sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gruzinsky wants to get back to his feet. Petrovs is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Petrovs stalling away here and it's allowed Gruzinsky to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Petrovs wants to pass the guard but Gruzinsky is keeping the position. Gruzinsky pulls Petrovs in close to his closed guard and prevents Petrovs from doing any damage or advancing position. Gruzinsky's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gruzinsky scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Petrovs clinches up with Gruzinsky and pushes him back against the cage. Gruzinsky doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Gruzinsky lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Petrovs breaks the clinch.
Petrovs moves into range and clinches up with Gruzinsky. Petrovs tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Petrovs misses with a knee strike.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gruzinsky misses with a punch on the inside.
Petrovs lands with a short shot to the head. Gruzinsky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gruzinsky feints and then cracks Petrovs's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Petrovs down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Roman Gruzinsky will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Petrovs with a poor takedown and Gruzinsky cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gruzinsky avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gruzinsky throws a counter high kick but Petrovs was just alert enough to avoid it. Petrovs has Gruzinsky up against the cage in a clinch.
Gruzinsky is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Petrovs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gruzinsky turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Gruzinsky throws an off balance right hand
and Petrovs counters with a nice uppercut. Gruzinsky moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Gruzinsky has closed the distance and engaged Petrovs in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petrovs lands with a short head shot on the inside. Gruzinsky lands a left hand.
Gruzinsky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Petrovs drives through and clinches with Gruzinsky against the cage.
Petrovs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gruzinsky ducks under a wild hook from Petrovs. Petrovs has managed to clinch.
Petrovs makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Petrovs breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gruzinsky connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Petrovs is rocked! Nice uppercut there from Gruzinsky. Petrovs is still on wobbly legs! Can Gruzinsky finish him? A shot to the liver by Gruzinsky. Beautiful body shot. A nice leg kick lands there from Gruzinsky. Petrovs tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gruzinsky misses with a head kick.
Petrovs unleashes a big counter combination but Gruzinsky bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Gruzinsky is stalking Petrovs. Petrovs circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Gruzinsky, and it's lights out! Petrovs really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
