The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowelle connects with a solid leg kick.
Bowelle stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Wu is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bowelle lands with a shot to the body.
Wu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bowelle feints and then cracks Wu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wu down.
Yuxiang Wu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bowelle pushes Wu away with a front kick.
Wu has a takedown stuffed.
Good leg kick by Bowelle there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Bowelle has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Wu thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Wu sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bowelle's guard.

Wu is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Wu is trying to control. Bowelle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bowelle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wu on the ground.
Wu stalling.

Wu looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
